Dr. Wolfgang Breyer is a leading German and International Construction lawyer and Chairman of the International Construction Law Association (ICLA). Dr. Breyer, as the Founder and Managing Partner of Breyer Rechtsanwälte, one of the only the specialist construction law firms with offices located across Europe (Germany, Austria, Romania, and France), is acknowledged as one of the world’s most experienced construction lawyers, with particular expertise in FIDIC contracts. Dr. Breyer advises most of Germany’s largest Contractors on construction and infrastructure projects worldwide. Additionally, he advises Employers and Engineers globally on projects throughout all phases of development from project inception to claims management. Dr. Breyer has an impeccable reputation for representing clients in International Arbitration and Adjudication proceedings and is an experienced (and often recommended) Adjudicator and Arbitrator for both German and International construction disputes.

In academia, Dr. Breyer has been at the forefront of bridging different systems from around the globe on construction law. Dr Breyer established the Masters program, International Construction: Law and Practice at the University of Stuttgart (MBE). Additionally, he is a lecturer for the Civil law module of international construction law program at King’s College in London. Dr. Breyer also established the Anglo-German Construction Law Platform (AGCLP) and contributes habitually to leading Construction Law publications and seminars worldwide.
